Reasons for reccing: My first favourite companion rec is for Donna! This fic is set after the mindwipe and I love the whole concept, the idea that she does and builds things without knowing how or why. It's a bit scary, but Donna wouldn't be Donna if she ran away. She doesn't consciously remember (yet?), but the knowledge is still there, and if she doesn't think about it too much, she can use it to save a life half-way across the galaxy. A fic that pulls you in and leaves you with an open but hopeful ending.
