If you are unfamiliar with the show, the main thing to know here is that Cal Lightman and his people specialize in analyzing people's faces, microexpressions, and body language, in order to, for example, determine if they are lying during criminal investigations. I thought it was a fascinating idea to have Cal meet the Tenth Doctor without knowing anything about him, trying to figure him out, and being irritated by his alienness.
