Title: Stargazer
Creator:
unknown-kadath
Rating: Gen
Word Count/Length/Size: 4881 words
Creator's Summary: The Doctor erased her memories, but in her heart, Donna never quite forgot.
Characters/Pairings: Donna Noble, Shawn Temple, Wilfred Mott, Sylvia Noble, Eleventh Doctor, Original Characters
Warnings/Notes: none
Reasons for reccing: A bittersweet story about Donna's life after she is back on earth, told in ten spotlights, each with their own subtitle. I especially appreciate that it fleshes out Shawn, Donna's relationship with him, and what they do with their life together: from setting up the Starlight Foundation with their lottery money to starting a family that keeps the longing for the stars going forth. They also get visited by the Doctor Incognito (more or less) - Eleven as we know him, and then Twelve and Thirteen as envisioned by the author.

Title: Navigable Waters
Creator:
AstroGirl
Rating: Gen
Word Count/Length/Size: 4056 words
Creator's Summary: A "Journey's End" fixit, courtesy of the Seventh Doctor.
Characters/Pairings: Donna Noble, Seventh Doctor, Wilfred Mott
Warnings/Notes: none
Reasons for reccing: As it says in the summary, this one is a fix-it in which Donna gets her memories back, courtesy of the Seventh Doctor. I really like the changing POVs, the Seventh Doctor (who is notably different from the Tenth here), Donna, and even Wilf getting to tell their experience with the situation. The explanation for why the Doctor is able to fix it here when he couldn't later/earlier is fine by me and I really like the images used for the two-minds-in-one scenario, especially because Donna has her own:
( excerpt that made me laugh )
It even solves the problem of Ten not remembering what his previous self did.
