Creator's Summary:  In a dingy church hall a new organisation is formed. Well....sort of.
Characters/Pairings: Ian Chesterton, Wilfred Mott,  Graham O'Brien
Warnings/Notes: None. (But it's helpful if you know a particular moment in Resolutions) 

Reasons for reccing: Happy Doctor Who Day!! * takes a broom, tries to squeeze in one more rec* For 2019 ( When Resolution aired).  So, if you've seen the episode, you are probably aware of the UNIT mention. Or what is said to have happened to it.   This fic is wonderful and captures the characters' voices well.  What a great idea and these three are a good team.

Creator's Summary: I made this at the end of 2019. Looking back on 56 years of Doctor Who history.

Reasons for reccing: Happy 60th, Doctor Who! A multi-era vid and a bonus rec for 1963, this is a very simple idea and seems to be a bit of a vidding meme (other shows' credits to the score from Endgame) but it's really lovely and this one, which goes all the way from 1963 to 2019 (and back again) must have taken some doing. Time to salute all the actors whose work over 60 years has made DW into the legend that it is!

60th Anniversary Update - and more!

Happy 60th anniversary, Doctor Who!

I'm delighted to say that everyone has been busy reccing here at [community profile] tardis_library and we are now at 49/60 recs down in our special anniversary challenge to rec a fanwork for each year of the show!

We're still a few days away from the end of this anniversary weekend, with a whole week to the finish date at the end of the month - we really can do this, so do keep the recs for your favourite works coming. ♥


In both reward and celebration, we'll be relaxing a couple of our rules here just for the duration of the anniversary weekend (from now until midnight (11.59pm) in your time zone on Sunday 26th November) only:


* the limit on posting recs to 2 per day per individual reccer is lifted, if anyone is feeling particularly inspired. (Please do still use your discretion - in the extremely unlikely event anyone goes too wild, I'll have to put the limit back on before all our subscribers unfollow to save their reading lists.)


* anyone who wishes may make 1-2 posts that are self-recs! (You may include as many works as you wish in the posts - under a cut as ever if 3+) but do keep it to 2 posts max.) The only caveat to this is that self-recs will still not be counted towards the anniversary challenge, as that continues by the regular rules of eligibility. You can rec things for a certain year if you like, of course, but I won't add them to the list.

Come midnight on Sunday, all rules will return to normal, like magic and pumpkins and beryllium clocks.
