Twelve is and shall always be my Doctor, and I adored Missy from the moment she appeared onscreen. This vid teases out the thread of tragic narrative that grows irresistibly during their seasons together, the slow build of Missy's redemption arc that proves her undoing - betrayed and betraying, left to die alone without the Doctor ever knowing that his friend had been coming back to stand with him, a change of hearts that fulfills the theme "without hope/without witness/without reward."
